The Pencombe Show has become one of the village’s favourite annual traditions — a celebration of local talent, home‑grown produce, creativity, and community spirit. Whether you’re a seasoned exhibitor or thinking about entering for the very first time, we’d love you to be part of it.

The 2026 Show was held on Saturday 15th August, 2.00pm – 6.00pm. We had a lovely warm, sunny day with plenty of activities for all age groups and interests. Despite the challenging hot weather in the summer, there was plenty of competition on the tables for vegetables, fruit, flowers, photography, craft and preserves. The cookery section was a little depleted due to a whole day power cut on the Friday before the event!

I am delighted to announce that Anne Reece was the overall winner of the Adult Classes on the day, winning 40 points for her entries in many categories and classes. Congratulations Anne! Colin Hadley took second place with 33 points and Gary Riochet third with 24 points. Well done to both of you.

The overall winner of the Children’s Sections was Hugh Reece with 13 points. Congratulations Hugh.
